With CNS Computer Network Systemengineering GmbH, the Group acquires an IT systems house with many years of experience. A team of more than 60 specialists makes CNS one of the leading companies for IT services for medium-sized businesses in the Ruhr area. With more than 650 employees, VALLEY IT GROUP now supports medium-sized companies and corporations throughout Germany in the successful digital transformation of their corporate and business processes.

A team of more than 60 specialists makes CNS one of the leading companies for IT services for medium-sized businesses in the Ruhr area. With more than 650 employees, VALLEY IT GROUP now supports medium-sized companies and corporations throughout Germany in the successful digital transformation of their corporate and business processes.

VALLEY IT GROUP has acquired CNS, a classic IT system provider with corporate headquarters in Gelsenhirchen, as its sixth acquisition in 2022. With CNS, founded in 1995, VALLEY IT GROUP strengthens its presence in the Ruhr area adding 60 employees and IT experts. CNS stands for modern and future-proof, individual IT solutions and services – from the digital workplace to cloud and storage solutions to IT security concepts, especially for medium-sized companies. Furthermore, CNS also offers comprehensive IT solutions for applications in the industrial environment.

In addition to the IT full-service provider PKN Datenkommunikations GmbH, which was acquired in spring, and the cloud solution provider REALCLOUD Services GmbH, the IT service provider Weiss IT Solutions GmbH and the TPM provider Amalphi GmbH also belong to the VALLEY IT conglomorate. Modern Workplace specialist arksolutions GmbH and IT system house SEALNET GmbH were also acquired in 2022 and the business operations of m2solutions were taken over in October. “With the acquisitions made in 2022 we are able to address medium-sized companies in addition to large enterprises, which we continue to support together with our providers. In both customer segments we would like to grow further in the future,” explains Alexander Friedl, Managing Director of VALLEY IT GROUP GmbH.

CNS works with market-leading technology suppliers in long-term partnerships and bundles their high-performance products into efficient, stable IT solutions that can be tailored to customer needs. The focus is on advising customers considering the individual requirements for functioning IT differ from company to company. “We are happy to have gained a competent and sympathetic new owner in VALLEY IT GROUP GmbH. Through the cooperation with VALLEY IT GROUP, we are now in a position to offer our regional and supra-regional customers in Germany, but also in neighboring European countries, a comprehensive, customized service across the entire IT lifecycle, from the workplace to the server or cloud solution,” explains Ralf Czychun, Managing Director of CNS.

“The upcoming cooperation with all companies of the VALLEY IT GROUP holds great advantages, especially for cross-regional topics. In the medium and long term, we see enormous potential in our joint solution and service portfolio. Thus, we take another big step to improve  the position of CNS GmbH for the future and react optimally to growing markets”, adds Andreas Pilgrim, Managing Director of CNS.

Many things that were only possible as exceptions a short time ago are now normality, for example home office, flexible working models and new digital communication possibilities. “For the further development of these digital working worlds, we offer everything from comprehensive consulting to implementation from a single source. In this context, the acquisition of CNS is an important building block,” explains Friedl. This also includes secure cloud services, which VALLEY IT GROUP can provide via data centers in Germany. As a long-standing managed service provider, the companies of VALLEY IT GROUP can offer a comprehensive range of different cloud services, which, in addition to the selection and integration of public cloud services into existing IT infrastructures, also includes its own private business cloud offering and multi-cloud solutions.
