COOKIES

Like many other websites, we use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files, which are transferred onto your hard drive by a website server. As a result of this, we automatically receive certain data such as your IP address, the browser used, your operating system and your connection to the internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or to transfer viruses onto a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we are able to make navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our web pages.

In no case will the data recorded by us be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent. You can, of course, also view our website without cookies.

Internet browsers are regularly set so that they accept cookies. In general, you can disable the use of cookies at any time through the settings of your browser. Please use the Help function of your internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website possibly do not function if you have disabled the use of cookies.

USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (named Google in the following). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, i.e. text files, which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information about your use of this website generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and is stored there. Due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these web pages, however, within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area, Google truncates your IP address first. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and is shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and to provide the website operator us with further services related to website use and internet use.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The purposes of the data processing lie in the evaluation of use of the website and the compiling of reports on activities on the website. Further related services are then to be provided, based on the use of the website and the internet. The processing is based on the legitimate interests of the website operator.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by making a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we point out that in this case you may possibly not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent recording of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) and its transfer to Google as well as the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics.

In addition to or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can also prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our site by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie is then installed on your device. This prevents future recording by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser, as long as the cookie remains installed on your browser.

USE OF SCRIPT LIBRARIES (GOOGLE WEB FONTS)

In order to present our content correctly and make them graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts on this website (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible – but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

USE OF GOOGLE MAPS

This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the map functions by visitors. Further information on the processing by Google is available in the Google Privacy Notice. There, in the Safety Center, you can also change your personal data protection settings.

Detailed instructions on managing your own data in the context of Google products can be found here.

GOOGLE ADWORDS

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you reached our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking is set if a user clicks an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies become invalid after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the visitor visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can detect that the user has clicked the advert and has been forwarded to this site. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookies is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. The customers find out the total number of users who clicked their advert and were forwarded to a page with a Conversion Tracking tag.

However, they do not receive any information with which users can be identified in person. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of the necessary cookie – for example, using your browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies or you can set your browser so that cookies from the “googleleadservices.com” domain are blocked.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want any measured data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must reset the respective opt-out cookie.

USE OF GOOGLE REMARKETING

This website uses the Remarketing function (aka retargeting) of Google Inc. The function is used to present interest-based adverts to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called “cookie” is stored on the browser of the website visitor, which enables to visitor to be recognised when they call websites that belong to the Google advertising network.

Advertising displays can be presented to the visitor on these sites, which relate to content that the visitor has previously called on websites that use the Google Remarketing function. According to its own information, Google does not collect any personal data in this process. Should you nonetheless not want the Google Remarketing function, you can disable it by making the relevant settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the advertising network initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

CHANGE TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY PROVISIONS

We reserve the right to adjust this data policy so that it always meets the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data policy, for example, if new services are introduced. The new data policy then applies to your renewed visit.
